I have been rafting since 1995 when I spent the summer working as a commercial guide in the U.S., Guatemala, Honduras, Eduador, and Peru.

Since then, I have led many private and non-profit trips. For over ten years, I was a volunteer rafting guide with Environmental Traveling Companions, leading trips for kids with terminal illnesses and physical disabilities.  (The optimism, excitement, and depth of those children helped me appreciate how abundant my life is.)  In Colorado, I’ve also guided wounded warriors down the river for Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center.
