Flying - Open Cockpit, two-seat Spezio Tuholer

Two years ago, I bought a Spezio Tuholer. I was just inspired by it. And then, I started lessons to learn how to fly! It's a two-seat, open-cockpit, low wing aircraft. While I was learning how to fly, I was learning how to restore antique aircrafts and adding safety features such as the rollbar. I earned my pilot's license (and taildragger endorsement) in July 2008 and have been loving flying the Spezio ever since. It's a fun airplane with a lot of power for a 986 pound aircraft. The plane was designed in 1960 by Tony Spezio, patterned after the 1930s racers. This one was built to plan in 1999. Perhaps it's needless to say that I'm loving it.
